The production conditions in printing industry, which needed quite physical power and were carried on with difficulties before 1980, has led to computers to enter into the sector and a radical change and transformation in printing and publishing industry. Thus, production time of some products (newspaper, magazines, brochures etc.)which took weeks to be produced,decreased considerably. Reaching an information-focused structure,the sector needs employees using technology and adapting to changes. The sector has taken advantage of the reproduction of information by technology constantly. Usage of technology and especially computer systems in an active way in the sector made the presence of people who use technology necessary. The recent digital innovations changed the structure of jobs in the sector, Prepress, Press and Afterpress.In the context of EYC-AYC especially, the Prepress unit manager and Press unit manager stand out.In addition to these, Post-press, Sale and Marketing, Quality Management, Production Planning and Pricing stand out.
