General Information(Details of the programme are shown below.)
Fashion and textile, as an integral part of each other, have continued to be effective since the existence of humanity. The development and rising of fashion and textile and their displaying an increase against the conditions of competition, are closely related to the technology of this field. Aesthetic concerns are the factors which reveal differences in the artistic attitude. Divided into many branches through its raw materials, fiber and functional diversity, textile maintains its development in the basic fields such as Printing, Weaving, Clothing and Knitting. Fashion which can be described as an activity popular at a certain time is a movement fed by all of these sectors and has to adapt to the competitive environment. Although clothing-fashion match is much stronger in our perception, fashion is a phenomenon existing in all production areas. Fashion is a mechanism that keeps clothing and other areas of textile continuously active and alive and also provides acceleration in consuming, shopping and in every part of the sector. The Fashion and Textile Design Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts has structured its programs to improve creativity and actualize designs by means of the relevant technical infrastructure.
