Biomedical engineering is a remarkable, dynamic engineering branch aiming to generate solutions for medical problems through engineering approach which technology and knowledge exponentially increase. The sub branches of biomedical engineering department curriculum can be summarized as medical imaging, medical image and signal processing, biomedical instrumentation, biomaterials, biomechanics, biophotonics, biosensors, medical informatics and physiological control and modeling. In each and every sub branches, the design, analysis, optimization of the electrical and mechanical components of biomedical systems, and the interaction of their circumferential components and with the living organisms, and the techniques about their production are studied. BME’s application branches are expanding day by day and parallel to this the need of the qualified employee in the healthcare industry rapidly increases. Nowadays, approximately twenty thousand different types of biomedical devices and systems are used in hospitals. The need for biomedical engineers in healthcare institutions is increasingly growing.
