Health Services at Istanbul Arel University are maintained with one doctor and four nurses with a total of four beds at both Sefaköy and Tepekent campuses, from 8:00am to 6:00pm in the evening. Health Services at Istanbul Arel University are carried out in affiliation with the Department of Health, Culture and Sports. The Health Unit was established in accordance with the philosophy that "health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity", as defined by World Health Organization, in order to handle individual health problems of staff and students within the frame of patient rights, in a careful and proper way and in strict confidence.
Treatment begins as soon as students and staff consult the Health Centre. Here they are examined free of charge and are sent to the medical facilities if necessary. All medical examinations and first aid services are free of charge for university students and staff.
In case of emergency and following first aid, if needed, transportation service to hospitals for advanced treatment is provided.
